Soil and subsoil conservation from an environmental perspective

In Uruguay, soil and subsoil conservation have historically been regulated under a strong productive standpoint. This has led various authors to consider that soil protection regulations do not constitute typical environmental regulations. Notwithstanding this, there is a tendency for more and more environmental protection regulations associated with soil and subsoil conservation. In this study, these regulations will be analyzed, including issues associated with the Environmental Impact Assessment, land use planning, and waste.
