Abstract

Due to a recent ruling issued in our country, where it was understood that in cases of damages caused by precautionary measures requested by the State, the expiration period to claim damages against the Sate under Article 39 of Law Nº11.925 must be calculated starting from the date when the final, favorable judgment is issued for individuals subject to such measures.
