RECEPTION OF CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE SECTION "ARTICLES" CORRESPONDING TO THE NUMBERS OF THE YEAR 2023

Humanidades: revista de la Universidad de Montevideo is an open access journal, peer-reviewed, published by the Facultad de Humanidades y Educación of the Universidad de Montevideo.

Its a scientific and interdisciplinary publication of Philosophy, History, Literature, Art, Education and Linguistics.

Humanidades is an academic journal targeted at a specialized audience and its main objective is to constitute an open forum in which the different disciplines converse with each other to shed some light on and provide new knowledge. The members of the journal and their collaborators are driven by the conviction that "Humanity is what gives reason for our existence and justification to all utility", as the editorial of its first issue has pointed out.

It is published every six months in June and December of each year and is published in printed and electronic format.

The journal is now indexed with and included in Scielo, Dialnet, DOAJ, EBSCO-Academic Search Ultimate, Latindex, Portal Timbó. Founding member of AURA: Uruguayan Association of Academic Journals. It is part of: LATINOAMERICANA. Association of Academic Journals of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Reception period:

First number 2023: until September 30, 2022.

Second number 2023: until March 31, 2023.

Subject: free within the research lines of the publication.

It is an essential requirement to enter the evaluation process that the collaborations respect the Citation Norms for Contributors.
