Review of the dossier by associate editors Damiano Tieri, Universidad de Montevideo, Uruguay and Nataly Cáceres, Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Spain

The image and ideas of José Enrique Rodó in the public space of Montevideo. Analysis of the monument located in the Parque Rodó de Montevideo, by Cecilia Arias, Universidad de la República, Uruguay.
Dialogue with Matilde Carrasco Barranco, University of Murcia, Spain, on Philosophy, functional beauty and ordinary feelings in commemorative art.

The activity will be face-to-face in room D001, University of Montevideo, Prudencio de Pena 2544 and virtual through the Zoom platform.
